Giancarlo Stanton just made a 471-foot grand slam bomb look easy

More like Giancarlo Slamton, right?

Giancarlo Stanton got all of this grand slam, and then some. In the bottom of the fifth inning of the New York Yankees Monday night game against the Baltimore Orioles, Stanton unloaded the bases with an absolute howitzer of a grand slam, and he made it look easy.

Orioles pitcher Shawn Armstrong was facing a bases loaded situation with the Yankees leading 2-0 when Stanton stepped up to bat. On the 0-1 pitch, Stanton got all of a fastball that sat at the worst position you could put a ball: dead center.

The result was explosive, as Stanton cleared the bases by knocking in a monster 471-foot grand slam for his first home run of the season.

In case you needed a better look at how badly Armstrong put that on a silver platter for Stanton, here you go.

Bold strategy, indeed. And unfortunately for the Orioles, it did not pay off.
