National Signing Day has come and gone, and Alabama’s 2020 recruiting class is officially set. There were 25 total members (26, if you count North Carolina grad transfer tight end Carl Tucker) with talent across the board.
In order for fans to get to know the Crimson Tide’s newest players, we have laid out a “get to know them” article for each member.
Next up is four-star JUCO cornerback Ronald Williams out of Hutchinson Community College in Kansas.

Where does he fit in? Williams is a guy who will be expected to contribute early to the depth and rational snaps as an outside cornerback in Alabama’s defense.
At 6-2, 188 pounds, the junior college product already has the length needed to be successful. But Williams also has a lot of other likable traits as a perimeter player, which is why he was named NJCA first-team All-American after racking up three interceptions and five pass breakups in 2019.
Trevon Diggs is off to the NFL, but the starting spot opposite Patrick Surtain II is Josh Jobe’s to lose. With Jayln Armour-Davis, Marcus Banks and several others also on the roster, it will be interesting to see where Williams fits in.
Once thing is certain, however: Nick Saban and the rest of the Alabama coaching staff don’t like to bring in a JUCO guy unless fills what they consider to be an immediate need.
