STEVENSON – Former University of Tennessee running back Gerald Riggs Jr. has been hired at North Jackson High School in Stevenson, Alabama.
Riggs will coach running backs at North Jackson.

“It’s a honor and a privilege to be hired as the new running backs coach at North Jackson High School,” Riggs said on Twitter. “Huge thanks to coach Chandler Tygard for this opportunity, can’t wait to join the rest of his amazing staff and get to work.”
Riggs played for the Vols from 2002-05. He totaled 1,893 rushing yards and scored 10 touchdowns in 38 career games for Tennessee.
