Rams’ TE Gerald Everett, listed as questionable for Sunday with a back injury, is expected to play vs. Eagles. “I fully expect him to be ready to go,” said Rams’ HC Sean McVay.

Gerald Everett was the only Rams player listed with an injury designation on Friday’s report, coming into Week 2 as questionable with a back injury. It was somewhat surprising that he was even given a status for Sunday’s game considering he was a full participant in practice on Friday.
But despite being questionable, Everett is expected to play. Adam Schefter of ESPN had the report, which echoes what Sean McVay said after Friday’s practice.
“We put him as questionable, but he ended up going today. He felt good. I fully expect him to be ready to go,” McVay said.
Everett left last week’s game against the Cowboys with a minor back injury but was able to return in the fourth quarter. He missed Wednesday’s practice and was limited Thursday, but his return to practice Friday was a good sign.
He’ll be the No. 2 tight end alongside Tyler Higbee this weekend and likely moving forward.
