Georgia’s Jordan Davis is the prospect to make Cowboys care about stopping run

Can the Cowboys force themselves to doing something to stop the run? Will they get the chance? @DiabeticTyler looks into the biggest Bulldog.

Just like the safety position, the Dallas Cowboys have long ignored the interior of their defensive line. They tried to address with the free agent signing of Brent Urban this past off season, but he had a very minimal impact before his season ended with him being placed on Injury Reserve. Should the Cowboys explore a more long term answer for the run-stuffing defensive tackle role?

Georgia defensive tackle Jordan Davis is a monster in the run game, but leaves more to be desired in the pass rush department. But with Demarcus Lawrence (if he stays), Randy Gregory (if he returns), Micah Parsons, Neville Gallimore and Osa Odighizuwa the Cowboys might have the pass-rush part of their defensive line sorted out. Would they finally be willing to take the long-needed 1-tech or 0-tech?

Davis is a mountain of a man and often dwarfs those he stands next to, even big-boy teammate Devonte Wyatt.
