Georgia-based linebacker Christian Gass offered by USC football

USC is back in Georgia, looking for more defensive talent.

2025 four-star linebacker Christian Gass from Covington, Georgia, has been offered by USC along with other top schools. That list of other schools includes Auburn, Colorado, Georgia, Ole Miss, Florida, Tennessee and Georgia Tech.

Gass ranks as the No. 264 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. Gass is ranked No. 243 overall and No. 28 at his position according to the 247Sports composite

During his junior campaign the 6-foot-4, 205-pound linebacker totaled 68 tackles, 11 for loss, and two sacks.

On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine gives Kentucky a 34.3% chance of signing him, followed by USC (22.7%), the Auburn Tigers (13.2%) and Florida (11.0%). USC linebacker coach Matt Entz would love to see what he can do with a quality player from the state of Georgia. As you can plainly see, recent USC decommitments from Georgia-based players have not deterred Lincoln Riley and his staff from making forays into the Peach State for defensive talent. USC continues to take swings. In a year when the Atlanta Braves have not hit nearly as well as they hoped to (which makes Angelenos happy, given that the Braves are a primary competitor of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League), USC will try to connect squarely in a few more Georgia recruiting efforts.
