Shuman Farms announced a new partnership this week with Georgia star wide receiver Ladd McConkey, who made his first appearance of the season last week at Auburn. The season-long deal was facilitated by Everett Sports Management.
McConkey is the latest Bulldog to promote Shuman Farms’ sweet onions. Quarterback Stetson Bennett represented them last year. The onion is the official vegetable of the state.
“We’re looking forward to partnering with him this season to help us spread the word about Shuman Farms’ sweet onions as the MVP of any game day spread,” Shuman Farms president and CEO John Shuman said.
McConkey has an name, image and likeness valuation of $137,000, per On3.

McConkey’s return to the lineup is a big boost to Georgia’s wideout room. The junior amassed 89 catches for over 1,200 yards and 12 touchdowns over the last two seasons.
McConkey missed Georgia’s first four games of the 2023 college football season with a back injury.
