Georgia WR Dillon Bell impressed NFL scout at pro day: ‘Looked like the best receiver on the field’

Bell will have NFL eligibility in 2025…

Georgia rising sophomore receiver Dillon Bell impressed at UGA’s pro day last week in front of NFL scouts and team representatives.

Bell “looked like the best receiver on the field,” according to NFL draft analyst Cody Carpentier of playerprofiler.com.

Bell (6-foot-1, 210 pounds) was asked to step up due to injuries among the Bulldogs receiver corps in 2022 and finished his freshman season with 20 receptions for 180 yards and three touchdowns.

The Houston, Texas, native came to Athens as a three-star recruit rated as the No. 68 receiver in the 2022 recruiting class, according to 247Sports Composite.

Bell showed sure hands and a knack for finding the end zone in his first season as a Bulldog.

With the transfer of starting wideout Adonai Mitchell to Texas, Bell will compete for the starting X receiver role with Mississippi State transfer Rara Thomas, rising senior Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, rising junior Jackson Meeks and rising sophomore De’Nylon Morrissette.
