Georgia trolls TCU with ‘hypnoDAWG’ video during national title game beat down

Georgia’s social media team added insult to injury.

TCU has had a truly special season, but it ran out of magic against Georgia in Monday night’s College Football Playoff national championship game, losing in one of the more lopsided title games we’ve seen in a while.

The Horned Frogs’ season has featured a lot of chaos, and through it all, the team has used videos featuring the “hypnotoad” — a trippy and psychedelic frog originally from the cartoon Futurama — as a rallying point all year.

The clock struck midnight on TCU’s Cinderella run in this game, and during the second half of the championship blowout, the Bulldogs’ social media team took the opportunity to troll TCU’s beloved hypnotoad.

Meet the hyponodawg.

It’s one thing to embarrass TCU on the football field. Stealing its meme just adds insult to injury.
