Georgia stays put in latest USA TODAY/NFCA Coaches Poll Top 25

Georgia softball stays No. 5 behind a team it beat earlier in the season

The Georgia Bulldogs softball team remains the No. 5 team in the country after winning a key SEC series against Alabama. The Crimson Tide are ranked as the No. 13 team in the country.

Georgia also has ranked wins over No. 4 Oklahoma State, No. 14 UCLA, No. 17 Florida State, No. 16 Virginia Tech, No. 11 Clemson and No. 19 California.

Georgia outfielder Jayda Kearney has been excellent this season. The senior has 12 home runs and 27 RBIs in 27 games played this year. Infielder Sara Mosley has also added nine home runs and 41 RBIs for the Bulldogs.

Georgia softball’s next game is at Turner Softball Stadium in Athens, Georgia, as the Dawgs hosts Georgia Southern on Wednesday, March 20 at 6 p.m. ET.
