Quay Walker, linebacker (No. 7):
Class: Senior
Height: 6-4
Weight: 240 pounds
Hometown: Cordele, Georgia
High School: Crisp County High School
Georgia Bulldogs linebacker Quay Walker changed from jersey No. 25 to jersey No. 7 this offseason. He came to the University of Georgia as a four-star recruit. Walker brings experience to Georgia’s linebacker corps. He has played in 37 career games for the Dawgs.
The Crisp County native has a good chance to be drafted in the 2022 NFL draft. Last year, Walker averaged 4.3 tackles per game and tacked on a sack.
Quay Walker recorded 23 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 2019.
Walker had one of the most entertaining commitments in recent memory. There are few things better than messing with the hearts of poor Tennessee fans.

Walker, Trezmen Marshall, Nakobe Dean and Channing Tindall will compete for playing time at inside linebacker. Georgia could need one of them to play significant snaps at outside linebacker as the Dawgs are lacking depth beyond Nolan Smith and Adam Anderson.
