Georgia football interested Utah State transfer RB

Georgia football is in mix for talented Utah State transfer RB Rahsul Faison

The Georgia Bulldogs have been involved in the transfer portal despite not landing any commitments. Georgia has their sights set on another target in Utah State transfer running back Rahsul Faison. Faison has heard from Florida StateNorth Carolina, and Utah to pursue his services for next year.

Faison was among several former junior college players granted extra eligibility due to a lawsuit injunction initiated by Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia. The running back began his college career at Marshall in 2021 before transferring to a junior college in 2022. A Pennsylvania native, Faison has spent the past two seasons in the Mountain West, rushing for 1,109 yards and eight touchdowns on 198 carries as a senior in 2024, following a 736-yard junior campaign.

Trevor Etienne is eligible for the 2025 NFL draft but has yet to announce his plans. This season, Georgia relied heavily on freshman running back Nate Frazier. The Bulldogs will also have Branson Robinson and Roderick Robinson back next year, though both dealt with injuries during the season and there’s no guarantee they return for 2025.
