Georgia DL Christen Miller announces return

Georgia Bulldogs defensive tackle Christen Miller announces his plans for the 2025 season

A pivotal player in the Georgia Bulldogs’ defense has announced his decision to return for another season. Redshirt sophomore defensive lineman Christen Miller revealed on social media that he will be back for the 2025 season.

A product of Cedar Grove High School, Miller has spent three seasons at UGA and has been a significant contributor over the past two years. In 2024, he started 10 games before suffering a shoulder injury against UMass, which sidelined him for the Georgia Tech game and SEC championship game. However, he returned in the Sugar Bowl, where the Bulldogs’ season concluded.

In 2024, Miller recorded 27 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks, showcasing significant improvement as a run stopper. During a stretch of the season, Miller and Nazir Stackhouse were the Bulldogs’ only seasoned and healthy interior defensive linemen. Miller rose to the challenge, taking on an expanded role and delivering strong performances.

For the 2025 season, Miller will look to step up into a leader role with many departures happening along the defensive line. Georgia defensive tackle Warren Brinson has already declared for the 2025 NFL draft.
