The Georgia Bulldogs added one of the nation’s top prospects to their 2025 recruiting class Wednesday afternoon, as in-state linebacker Zayden Walker announced his commitment to the program.
Walker is currently considered as a five-star prospect out of Schley County High School in Georgia, as well as the No. 23 overall player in the 2025 class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. The five-star also ranks as the nation’s No. 2 linebacker, as well as the fifth highest-ranked 2025 high school prospect in the state of Georgia.
An elite athlete that plays both sides of the ball, Walker is now the second five-star prospect in Georgia’s 2025 class, joining tight end Elyiss Williams. Walker is also now commitment No. 10 for Georgia this cycle, as well as the seventh from in-state.
The five-star is also the second linebacker to commit to the Bulldogs this cycle, joining four-star Jadon Perlotte out of in-state Buford High School in Georgia.
