After it looked like Vikings assistant GM George Paton was the frontrunner for the Browns open GM spot, it was reported on Friday by multiple outlets that Paton has pulled his name out of consideration.

Paton has been very select with what team he talks to, so the fact that he made it to the second interview with the Browns, who now have Kevin Stefanski as their coach, is telling.
Instead, though, Paton will be with the Vikings for his 14th season in 2020.
