If you had Geno Smith playing like a legitimate star against Denver on your bingo card, congratulations. Seattle’s new franchise QB had a near-perfect game against the Broncos tonight, only missing a handful of passes and gaining some clutch yards with his legs. In the end, he finished with a passer rating just under 120.
Smith even had a quality quip for the critics who wrote him off before this season started after the game.

After it was all over, Smith left the field with the crowd chanting his name.
