Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith all of the sudden is a legitimate top-10 QB after being a backup since 2015. While Smith’s success in 2022 came as a surprise to virtually everybody in the industry, Smith has claimed that he anticipated his development. Over the weekend we learned a bit more about that in an interview with Ryan Clark.
Watch Geno talk about how he was able to predict he was going to have a big year by seeing his progression in real time and feeling the game slow down for him.
After beating the Broncos Geno Smith said, “They wrote me off but I didn’t write back!”.@GenoSmith3’s granny told him when he was young that you can feel when good things are about to happen, & when competition opens he knew it was his time!@thepivot https://t.co/NzKXIBTofq pic.twitter.com/Af619OCrLG
