GCAA reveals remaining Palmer Cup selections even as event remains uncertain

The GCAA revealed the full 24-player U.S. and International squads to recognize the accomplishments of the players who made the team.

With no golf for the foreseeable future, the selection of the national team is a welcome pick-me-up for college golfers. That was the thinking behind the Golf Coaches Association of America’s release of the 2020 Arnold Palmer Cup squads on Friday.

The status of the July 3-5 event at Ireland’s Lahinch Golf Club – whether it will go on as scheduled, be postponed to a later date or canceled altogether – remains unknown, as the Golf Coaches Association of America announced with its release of the full squads. Still, revealing the full 24-player U.S. and International squads serves to recognize the accomplishments of the players who made the team.

Below are the full teams, as listed by the GCAA, organized according to the way in which each player qualified for or was selected to the team. The United States leads the all-time series 12-9-1.
