Gators Wire talks Kyle Trask with Bucs Wire’s River Wells

Is Kyle Trask in position to take over the starting QB position for the Bucs? Sure, why not?

Florida football has a long legacy of being a quarterback-centric program but one of the Gators’ Achilles heels over the decades is producing a signal-caller who stands out among the rest in the professional ranks.

Not one of the three Heisman Trophy-winning QBs have done much in the National Football League, which has left a sour taste in the mouths of the media and fanbases alike when it comes to projecting members of the Orange and Blue at the next level. However, a fair share have at least amounted to significant role players on their respective teams.

Bucs Wire’s managing editor River Wells — a University of Florida graduate himself — recently reached out to Gators Wire with a few questions regarding the former Florida gunslinger Kyle Trask, who appears to be poised to take over for future Hall of Famer Tom Brady. Take a look below at our Q&A and you can also find the other side of the coin here.
