Florida is sitting on top of Hutchinson (JUCO) defensive lineman [autotag]Tarvorise Brown[/autotag]’s recruitment after extending an offer to him Saturday at the Gators’ Grill in the Ville event, according to Swamp247’s Blake Alderman.
A Florida native, Brown played prep ball at Cocoa High while also playing varsity basketball at Merritt Island. He’s also got that SEC size (6-foot-8, 290 pounds) that [autotag]Billy Napier[/autotag] likes to load the trenches in Gainesville with. After redshirting at Hutchinson last season, Brown earned an offer from Utah State and now Florida.
“This is the top school right here,” Brown said of Florida. “I never thought it would be a moment like this where I get offered by a team that I’ve seen on television. It’s just a blessing to come here.”
After a great conversation with @CoachGChatman and @CoachPattersonJ i am Truly blessed and honored to receive an offer from @FloridaGators thank you @coachroberson42 and @CoachDrewDallas pic.twitter.com/bQ2jHmXxrv

Brown is going to stretch his decision into the college season, which is only a month away at publishing time. Getting him to the Swamp to experience a game should secure things for the Gators.
Balancing Brown’s own football schedule with Florida’s can be tricky, but both sides are actively working on finding a date.
