Gators offer 4-star 2025 tight end out of Midwest

Florida officially joined the recruiting race for four-star tight end Brock Schott on Wednesday by extending him an offer.

The latest class of 2025 recruit to pick up an offer from the Florida Gators is Leo (Indiana) tight end [autotag]Brock Schott[/autotag], according to Gators Online.

The Gators offered him on Wednesday over the phone, and Schott is keeping the door open for Billy Napier and Co. Tight ends coach Russ Callaway is the coach tasked with recruiting him, but the relationship is still in the development phase.

“I really liked the message of what they want to do with their program,” Schott said. “The main message is they really want to start building a relationship with me.”

Schott says he needs to do more research before determining where the Gators stand in his recruitment. He has several SEC offers, including Kentucky, Missouri and Texas A&M.

Florida last hosted Schott in the spring and the expectation is to get him back on campus in the coming months. No dates are set just yet, though.

Schott is a consensus four-star recruit, who is ranked the highest by On3 at No. 99 overall in the class of 2025. The On3 industry ranking, which considers all four major services, puts him at No. 174 overall and No. 9 among tight ends in his class.
