2022 Strongsville, Ohio offensive tackle Blake Miller released his final five schools on October 19, and the Florida Gators, along with the Auburn Tigers, Clemson Tigers, Michigan Wolverines and Ohio State Buckeyes, made the cut.
Miller is a four-star recruit and, according to the 247Sports Composite, the No. 34 offensive tackle prospect in the class and a top-10 player in the state.
John Hevesy, Florida’s run game coordinator and offensive line coach, has been his primary recruiter.
While it is good news the Gators are in the mix for the 6-foot-6-inch, 315-pounder, the Columbus-based Buckeyes, located about 125 miles southwest of Strongsville, are the favorites.

Ohio State has had their offensive line coach, Greg Studrawa, running point on Miller’s recruitment, and the school possesses all three of his Crystal Ball Predictions, including one from Steve Wiltfong, 247Sports’ Director of Football Recruiting.
Florida extended Miller an offer on April 14, ten days ahead of the Buckeyes and nearly one month before Gus Malzahn’s Tigers.
The Gators currently only have one commit in their 2022 class, Edison (Miami, Florida) four-star wide receiver Syveion Ellis.
