Garrett Temple has one question after new episodes of ‘The Last Dance’

Episodes 3 and 4 of “The Last Dance” focused on Dennis Rodman and Phil Jackson, but there were still more than a few Michael Jordan moments.

Among the major moments highlighted in episodes three and four of ESPN’s “The Last Dance” was Michael Jordan’s big shot against the Cleveland Cavaliers that secured a Game 5 win in the first round of the 1989 NBA Playoffs, sending the Chicago Bulls to the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Ron Harper, who later went on to win three rings with Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman in Chicago, was on the Cavs 1988-89 team. He was featured in the docuseries and expressed rather bluntly that he wanted to guard Jordan on what turned out to be Cleveland’s final play in the 1989 playoffs. But Craig Ehlo’s number was called by Cavs coach Lenny Wilkens instead.

And the rest is history.

But Harper’s expression of frustration over the matter left some asking questions — one in particular, which Brooklyn Nets wing Garrett Temple voiced on Twitter:

Jordan hit that shot on Ehlo, but people forgot that Craig Ehlo had just put them up by 1. With all that being said… Harp should’ve been on M (Jordan) and If Harp was on Mike, does he make that shot?

All we can do now is wonder.
