The Aggies got an early start to the night run-ruling the Tigers in a 13-1 victory. After their Game-2 win, the Aggies have locked up the series giving them three SEC series wins in a row. After starting league play at 1-5 they now sit at 7-7 with a chance to go above .500 and the sweep in game three against Missouri.
After the game, Coach Schlossnagle praised his team for putting together a complete game. See his quote below:
“We wanted to get Josh Stewart a start and he did exactly what we wanted him to. Evan did a really excellent job in a tough pitching environment as well. We got the big hits and the home runs that took a lot of pressure off, and we know that our offense can do great things.”
Game three will start at 12pm on April 15th.
