When LSU travels to Oxford to face Ole Miss in two weeks, it could be a game that ultimately determines the SEC West when it’s all said and done.
You can expect a rowdy crowd at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, and now we know that it will be a prime-time matchup for the Tigers.
On Monday, LSU announced that the game against the Rebels in Week 5 will begin at 5 p.m. CT and be televised on ESPN. Presumably, CBS passed on the Tigers’ SEC West matchup in the 2:30 p.m. game of the week slot in favor of the rivalry contest between Georgia and Auburn.

An upset home win over Ole Miss kickstarted a stretch for LSU that culminated in an SEC West title last season. The Tigers will hope for a similar effect when they face the Rebels in their own house this time around.
