With the series tied at one apiece and each team putting a beating on the other, I’m sure both were looking to get back on the diamond as soon as possible.
But Mother Nature had other plans halting the start of game three indefinitely. A few posts said the game was canceled entirely, and others said it was temporarily postponed while they monitored the weather. Currently, the Official Twitter account of the Texas A&M Baseball team is stating the game is just on hold but still pending a final decision.
Both teams have identical records, and a win in game three will go a long way regarding seeding in the SEC and NCAA tournaments. Not being able to finish this series is not the end of the world, but it eliminates one more opportunity to make a good impression and boost their league record.
