Game balls following LSU women’s basketball’s loss to South Carolina

The LSU women’s basketball team lost at top-ranked South Carolina 66-59 despite 19 points from Jailin Cherry.

Aufiwa also scored 11 points on 4-of-11 shooting for the game. She led the team in rebounds with 12 and was a big factor in LSU having 33 rebounds as a team against the Gamecocks.

The center finished with another double double for the season.

LSU women’s basketball returns to action on Thursday at No. 20 Kentucky. The game is set for a 6 pm CST tip off on SEC Network+.
