On Saturday afternoon, the Kentucky Wildcats and Arkansas Razorbacks went head to head in a wild game where the lead was exchanged over and over again. It would be a battle all the way up the final minutes, when Kentucky would pull away for a 111 – 102 victory.
Antonio Reeves was the Wildcats leading scorer, with 22 points. However, the Cats had seven players in double figures with D.J. Wagner adding 19, Aaron Bradshaw and Rob Dillingham adding 15, and Zvonimir Ivisic, Reed Sheppard and Justin Edwars putting up 12, 10 and 10 respectively.
For Kentucky, it was a more difficult game than most fans thought it would be. The Razorbacks shot the ball well, and played one of their best games of the season.
Saturday’s win was Kentucky’s third consecutive, and boosts their record to 21 – 8. They’re now 11 – 5 in SEC play and in position to close the season strong and prepare for an NCAA Tournament run.
