On Friday night, the Nebraska Cornhuskers defeated Rutgers 14-13 in Piscataway, New Jersey. The win was Nebraska’s first road win in the Big Ten since their last trip to New Jersey in 2020. It was also the first time the Huskers have won back-to-back conference games since the 2018 season.
With the win, Interim Head Coach Mickey Joseph improves his records to 2-1 on the year. Nebraska now prepares for another road night game against a Big Ten East opponent as the Huskers head to West Lafayette to take on the Purdue Boilermakers.
