Auburn football hoped to close out its five-game home stand with an upset win over No. 18 Oklahoma. However, their dream was not meant to become a reality.
Auburn held an advantage in several statistical categories and even had an 11-point lead over the Sooners in the 4th quarter. However, Oklahoma chipped away late and an interception with 4:06 to go in the game that was returned for a touchdown lifted the Sooners over Auburn, stunning the Tigers with a 27-21 loss.
