The Philadelphia 76ers are getting set to begin a quick two-game road trip to the Midwest when they take on the Detroit Pistons on Thursday. The Sixers will be a bit shorthanded as they continue to try and grow together as a team in the early going.
While the Sixers knew they would be down Danny Green, Tobias Harris, and Isaiah Joe, they now will be down another member of their wing rotation.
Furkan Korkmaz will miss Thursday’s game with what the team is called for right wrist soreness. He will be missed as the Sixers will start Shake Milton in his place.
As for Joel Embiid, he will play in the second night of a back-to-back after making a huge block in Wednesday’s win over the Chicago Bulls.

The Sixers are off to a 6-2 start, but being so shorthanded, they will have their hands full against the Pistons. While Detroit is off to a 1-6 start, they are a scrappy team that Philadelphia will have to be ready for.
