The Philadelphia 76ers already knew they would be a bit shorthanded when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday at home. They found out earlier in the day that Joel Embiid is out due to a planned rest day and the Sixers will be turning to Andre Drummond to start.
On top of not having Embiid, the Sixers will not have Furkan Korkmaz on Monday either due to left knee soreness. Korkmaz had his knee buckle on a drive on Saturday in the win over the Sacramento Kings so it is not too surprising to see him being held out for this one.

With Korkmaz out, this could give a guy like Isaiah Joe an opportunity to make a dent in the rotation a bit. As a second-year man, Joe could be an option as a guy who can provide some defense as well as knock down some open triples if he gets an opportunity.
