Fumble recovery, interception lead to 10 points for Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys turned two turnovers into 10 points and a short-lived lead.

The Dallas Cowboys took advantage of two turnovers in the second quarter Thursday, turning them into 10 points and a short-lived lead in Tampa against the Buccaneers.

First, the fumble by Ronald Jones, which was recovered by Randy Gregory. That set up a touchdown pass. It was short and anything but simple.

Watch as the snap to Dak Prescott is low but the Dallas QB picks the ball up and connects with Amari Cooper for a 5-yard score.

However, the PAT hit the upright and the Cowboys trailed, 14-13.

Then came a gaffe by Leonard Fournette. The running back bobbled a perfectly set up screen pass and it landed in the hands of Trevon Diggs.

Four plays later, Greg Zuerlein connected for a field goal and a 16-14 lead.
