The Philadelphia 76ers finished off the pesky Toronto Raptors on Thursday to officially move on to Round 2 and prepare for Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat. After the win on Thursday, the Sixers will get a bit of a break before heading down to South Florida.
The Heat have not played since Tuesday after they finished off the Atlanta Hawks in Round 1 in five games so they will have the rest advantage in this series. The Eastern semifinals between the Sixers and the Heat will begin on Monday with Game 1 starting at 7:30 p.m. EDT. Game 2 will then be Wednesday also at 7:30 p.m. EDT and Game 3 will be Friday at 7 p.m. EDT.

The Sixers will have a few days to rest their guys, specifically Joel Embiid and his injured thumb, before going to battle with Butler and the Heat. Miami and Philadelphia split their four matchups in the regular season, but both teams played shorthanded in most of those games.
