WASHINGTON — The Philadelphia 76ers are in the nation’s capital on Saturday to begin a two-game road trip against the Washington Wizards. This is the second night of a back-to-back following Friday’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks at home.
The Sixers are still a little banged up. They are, obviously, missing Joel Embiid who is out while recovering from surgery on Feb. 6 to repair a meniscus injury. He is on the sidelines with De’Anthony Melton (lumbar spine stress response), Nic Batum (left hamstring strain) and Robert Covington (left knee bone bruise).
As for Tyrese Maxey, he missed Friday’s contest against the Hawks due to an illness. He is listed as probable to return on Saturday.
1:30 p.m. injury report:
Tyrese Maxey (illness) PROBABLE
OUT: Joel Embiid (left knee meniscus injury), Mo Bamba (right knee soreness), Nic Batum (left hamstring strain), De’Anthony Melton (lumbar spine stress response), Robert Covington (left knee bone bruise) #Sixers

If the Sixers can get Maxey back, it would be a huge boost. It also would give him an opportunity to play with new additions Buddy Hield and Cam Payne as the Sixers continue to integrate their new pieces.
Tip off from the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. is set for 7 p.m. EST.
