The Philadelphia 76ers will begin a four-game West Coast road trip on Wednesday that will serve as good preparation for the playoffs. The Sixers are in sixth place in the Eastern Conference, the last spot that would allow them to skip the play-in tournament. They need a good road trip to solidify their hold on that position in the standings.
Up first on the trip are the Phoenix Suns, who are led by the explosive scoring trio of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal. The Sixers will continue to be without Joel Embiid (left knee meniscus procedure), De’Anthony Melton (lumbar spine bone stress) and Robert Covington (left knee bone bruise) for this matchup.
As for Tobias Harris, who missed Philadelphia’s previous two wins due to a right ankle sprain, he is listed as questionable. The Sixers will look to others to continue to step up if he can’t go.
Injury report for tomorrow against the Suns:
OUT: Joel Embiid (left knee meniscus procedure), De’Anthony Melton (lumbar spine bone stress), and Robert Covington (left knee bone bruise)
QUESTIONABLE: Tobias Harris (right ankle sprain) #Sixers
