The Philadelphia 76ers will play host to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday looking to bounce back from a loss to the Chicago Bulls. The T-Wolves are a measuring stick game: They are atop the Western Conference standings.
The Sixers will be short-handed against the Wolves. Nic Batum, who missed the final stretch against the Bulls due to a right hamstring issue, will miss Wednesday’s contest against the Timberwolves. The Sixers will miss his versatility and ability to throw great entry passes to Joel Embiid.
While Batum is out, Marcus Morris Sr. and Robert Covington are listed as questionable. Morris missed Monday’s loss to the Bulls.

With Batum out and Morris and Covington questionable, the Sixers will likely rely on Kelly Oubre Jr. and De’Anthony Melton to try to slow Wolves star Anthony Edwards.
The tip at the Wells Fargo Center is set for 7 p.m. EST on Wednesday.
