Full injury report for Kyle Lowry, Sixers vs. Heat in home matchup

Here is the full injury report for Kyle Lowry and the Philadelphia 76ers as they take on the Miami Heat on Wednesday at home.

The Philadelphia 76ers will take on the Miami Heat on Wednesday in the final game before the All-Star break, and they will be short-handed once again. They knew they would be down their superstar big man once again, but the Sixers will be without other key pieces.

Joel Embiid (left knee meniscus) remains out. He will be reevaluated in early March following the procedure on Feb. 6.

De’Anthony Melton (lumbar spine stress response), Nic Batum (left hamstring strain), Robert Covington (left knee bone bruise) and Tobias Harris (left hip impingement) are out for this contest.

New addition Kyle Lowry, whose signing was made official on Tuesday, will also miss the contest against his former team due to return to competition reconditioning. Lowry hasn’t played in a game since Jan. 21 for Miami.

Tip off from the Wells Fargo Center is set for 7 p.m. EST on Wednesday. The Sixers look to win their third consecutive game following a stretch in which they lost eight of nine. It would be a great way for them to build momentum going into the break.
