The Philadelphia 76ers begin a two-game road trip on Friday when they face the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Sixers are looking for a big bounce-back game following the loss to the Los Angeles Clippers at home.
The Sixers will once again be short-handed. Joel Embiid (left knee meniscus procedure) is getting closer to a return, but he remains out. Coach Nick Nurse revealed at practice on Thursday that the big fella will travel with the Sixers on this trip, so that has to be a good sign.
Along with Embiid being out, De’Anthony Melton (lumbar spine bone stress) and Robert Covington (left knee bone bruise) are also out against the Cavs.
