For the second game in a row, the San Antonio Spurs suffered a brutal loss. This time around, they fell to the New York Knicks, losing 126-105. Victor Wembanyama made his debut at Madison Square Garden, but unfortunately for the rookie phenom, he was stifled, scoring just 14 points on 4-of-14 shooting.
Meanwhile, the trio of Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, and RJ Barrett led the way for the Knicks, combining for 72 points. Mitchell Robinson also made a huge impact, taking on the challenge of guarding Wembanyama and finding some success. Jeremy Sochan led the way for the Spurs, churning out what may have been his best game of the season, but it wasn’t enough to help the Spurs earn a win.
