The Tennessee Titans signed the fourth member of their 2023 NFL draft class on Thursday when they inked Tulane product and running back Tyjae Spears to his four-year rookie contract.

With Spears signed, the Titans now shift their focus to trying to reach an agreement with their top two picks, first-round pick and offensive lineman, Peter Skoronski, and second-round pick and quarterback, Will Levis.

According to Spotrac, Spears’ deal is worth a total of $5.49 million, with an average salary of $1.3 million and a signing bonus of $993,176.

All in all, Spears’ initial contract will be very manageable on the books as he won’t account for a cap hit that’s more than $1.7 million over the next four years. His Year 1 cap hit comes in under a million ($998,294).
