It’s hard to believe we’re only a few short weeks away from Elden Ring’s release. Sure, there were delays, but FromSoftware is making us quickly forget all that by teasing some new classes coming to the wildly-anticipated action RPG.
On Friday, Elden Ring’s Twitter account gave us a look at the Bandit and Astrologer classes, along with short summaries for both.
“BANDIT: A dangerous bandit who strikes for weak points. Excels at ranged combat with bows,” reads the post on Twitter. “ASTROLOGER: A scholar who reads fate in the stars. Heir to the school of glintstone sorcery.”
Nothing too in-depth, but it’s a decent distraction from those Elden Ring PC minimum system requirements that came and left rather quickly.

There’ll be plenty of time to dig into each class at length, though, since Elden Ring apparently takes 30 hours to finish. It won’t be quite as grueling as previous FromSoftware titles like Dark Souls, according to director Hidetaka Miyazaki.
Regardless of difficulty, Elden Ring is still enough to make Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin go wide-eyed in amazement. Not that we can blame him. After all, it was The Game Awards’ most-anticipated title two years running.
