Heading into the offseason, the Miami Dolphins were expected to have a clear need at offensive tackle.
Terron Armstead and Austin Jackson, who were the starters at the beginning of 2022, were both returning while Kendall Lamm, Greg Little, Kendall Lamm, Geron Christian and Eric Fisher were all hitting the market.
Lamm and Christian have been re-signed, Little signed with the Texans on Thursday and both Shell and Fisher are still available.
The Dolphins’ need for tackle comes from the injury history of both Armstead and Jackson, but the latter has also done little to prove he should be given the job without competition.
While Miami also drafted a tackle in the seventh-round of last weekend’s draft, Michigan’s Ryan Hayes, they still could use some help.
