Help could be on the way for the Lions secondary. Per numerous reports, including one from NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, free agent cornerback Quinton Dunbar is scheduled to visit with the team next week.

Dunbar last played for the Seattle Seahawks but is best known for his time with the Washington Football Team. He spent his first five seasons in Washington and progressed from backup to full-time starter in his final two seasons. The Football Team traded him to Seattle last offseason.

A former wide receiver at Florida who converted to defense to advance his NFL career, Dunbar has seven interceptions in his last 21 NFL games. The 6-2, 208-pounder aligns outside and knows how to use his size.

He’s had some struggles at staying on the field. Dunbar’s season has ended on I.R. three years in a row and he managed just six games for Seattle in 2020. Dunbar is also scheduled to meet with the Arizona Cardinals, per Rapoport.
