Fred VanVleet’s daughter had the most adorable answer about his excellent game

AWWWWW.

After missing three consecutive games, Raptors guard Fred VanVleet had his best performance of the season on Sunday.

VanVleet is originally from Rockford, Illinois outside of Chicago. His first game back was against his hometown Bulls and he finished with 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 11 assists while connecting on five 3-pointers.

During his postgame press conference, his daughter Sanaa joined him on the podium. She was asked how she felt her father played during the game, and the smile she gave during her answer is one of the most heartwarming things you will see all day.

Take a quick look for yourself and it will instantly brighten your mood:

This is not the first time we have seen a tender moment between VanVleet and his children.

During the NBA’s bubble season in Orlando, Sanaa was incredibly excited to see her father for the first time since Father’s Day.

VanVleet also let his daughter and her younger brother, Fred Jr., handle his media availability when he made the All-Star Game in Cleveland last season. The guard credited the birth of his son for his stellar run en route to winning the championship in 2019.
