[autotag]Frankie Muniz[/autotag] has teased the possibility of racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, which has finally come to fruition. On Friday afternoon, Muniz announced that he will drive the No. 35 Xfinity car for [autotag]Joey Gase Motorsports[/autotag] in the Xfinity Series race at Daytona International Speedway. The 38-year-old driver will compete in a Ford.
The organization used to be called Emerling-Gase Motorsports, but Patrick Emerling left to drive for SS-Greenlight Racing. Now, the NASCAR team will be called Joey Gase Motorsports. Muniz will run a limited Xfinity Series schedule during the 2024 season, but the other races have not been announced. The No. 35 car sits 25th in the owner’s standings.

Muniz sits in a solid spot to make the Xfinity Series race at Daytona after Joey Gase Motorsports bought the No. 24 car’s owner points from Sam Hunt Racing. This will be one of the highlights entering the new NASCAR season as Muniz elevates into the top divisions. It may not come with instant success, but it will be incredibly fun to follow Muniz.
