The Carolina Panthers may have lost more than just their third game on Sunday, as a handful of key players left during their Week 3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks due to injury. But we may not know the extent of those losses just yet.
Head coach Frank Reich provided a few updates, as well as some non-updates, on the setbacks this afternoon. As far as who exited the 37-27 defeat, he gave very little insight.
Wideout Jonathan Mingo, who reeled in three receptions for 21 yards, is currently in concussion protocol. Other than the rookie wideout—he had nothing to divulge on linebacker Frankie Luvu (hip), cornerback CJ Henderson (ankle) or safety Xavier Woods (hamstring).
When asked about quarterback Bryce Young, who sat out of yesterday’s contest due to an ankle injury, Reich also said he’s not sure about his No. 1 pick’s status for Week 4.
“Don’t know. Don’t know yet,” Reich said. “We’ll see how tomorrow goes and then Wednesday, I’ll give you an update then. But I know he’s done everything possible to try to put himself into position, too.”
So, stay tuned for Wednesday . . .
