FOX’s coverage of the NASCAR Cup Series in 2024 ends at Sonoma this weekend

FOX Sports’ coverage of the NASCAR Cup Series in 2024 will conclude at Sonoma Raceway this weekend.

The FOX Sports portion of the 2024 NASCAR season is concluding soon. After the NASCAR Cup Series race at Sonoma Raceway this weekend, FOX Sports will step aside and give the reigns to NBC Sports for the remainder of the 2024 season. It will also represent FOX’s final Cup Series race under the current TV deal.

Starting in 2025, FOX will only broadcast 14 Cup Series events, beginning with the Daytona 500 in February. Prime Video and Warner Bros. Discovery will split a 10-race summer stretch while NBC takes over for the last 14 events. It’s currently unclear which races FOX will broadcast outside the Daytona 500.

FOX will also say goodbye to NASCAR Race Hub, which will air its final episode on Tuesday, June 11. The NASCAR show debuted on SPEED in 2009 before moving to FOX Sports 1 in 2013. The network won’t broadcast live Cup Series events until a new era starts in 2025, as NBC takes over for the race at Iowa Speedway on June 16.
