Fox Sports analyst Jason McIntyre was not exactly bullish about the New England Patriots’ chances of winning the Super Bowl.
He emphatically stated that there was “absolutely no way” the organization would win the Super Bowl in 2024, putting them in a tier alongside the Denver Broncos, New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders.
It’s fair to say that McIntyre has good reason for his assessment. The Patriots will be starting over offensively under a first-year head coach. If there is any consolation to this, it is that the organization has a top-five defense. This should be able to help them, as they look to take on the second-hardest schedule in the NFL.
McIntyre stated his case for all of the teams during a television appearance on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd.”

It would be unreasonable to expect the Patriots to be Super Bowl contenders for this upcoming season. However, they’ll still have an opportunity to build toward a better future with several young pieces looking to step up and make an impact.
