Fox introducing ‘Caitlin Cam’ on TikTok channel during Iowa-Maryland

Fox is introducing its “Caitlin Cam” streaming option on its TikTok platform during No. 4 Iowa’s trip to Maryland on Saturday night.

As senior superstar Caitlin Clark marches toward the all-time women’s college basketball scoring record, Hawkeye fans and just basketball fans in general can’t get enough of every move she makes.

Thanks to the stardom of Clark, the No. 4 Iowa Hawkeyes are must-see content right now. Of course, that’s in person where Clark and Co. are selling out arenas left and right.

Iowa’s 110-74 win at Northwestern drew in the first-ever sellout crowd for a women’s basketball game inside Welsh-Ryan Arena. When this regular season concludes, the Hawkeyes will have either sold out or broke an attendance record in 30 of their 32 games.

But, Iowa and Clark are also must-watch content for everyone that can’t make it inside the arena as well.

It’s why Iowa is back on “Fox Primetime Hoops” on Saturday night with Gus Johnson on the call when it invades the XFinity Center in College Park, Md., to take on Maryland.

Fox is truly pulling out all the stops, though. The network announced that it is introducing its “Caitlin Cam” on its TikTok platform.

Per Scott Dochterman of The Athletic, Fox will stream the Iowa-Maryland game on TikTok with a camera specifically centered on Clark’s every move on the offensive end of the floor. When Clark and Iowa are playing defense or she’s on the bench, it will follow game action.

The feed will feature the arena’s natural sound and be without commentators. This is the first time Fox has streamed live game action on TikTok.

It’s just the latest instance of Clark making college basketball history. Tipoff for Iowa (20-2, 9-1 Big Ten) at Maryland (12-9, 4-6 Big Ten) is set for 7 p.m. CT.
